Adele has frequently gushed about her love for Rich ever since their romance was first uncovered. She told Vogue in October 2021: “I don’t feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. “It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild. … I’m a 33-year-old divorced mother of a son, who’s actually in charge. The last thing I need is someone who doesn't know where they’re at, or what they want. I know what I want. And I really know what I don’t want... I just love being around him. I just love it.”

She was previously married to Charity Business Executive Simon Konecki, 50, who she was married to from 2018 until 2021 although their romance began in 2011. The former couple share son Angelo, who is now aged 12.

Earlier this month, Adele lamented that her Vegas residency is nearing an end. She wailed at fans at one of her shows: “This really is the beginning of the end. There are no other f****** shows. I’m not going to be like, ‘Surprise!’ This is the end. It’s [the 100th and final show] the weekend before Thanksgiving, isn’t it? And that’s the last one. I don’t have any plans to be on stage indefinitely, really. They say that if you want things and you are looking for things in life, you have to pay the universe and then it pays you back tenfold. I feel like that’s what’s happened with this show for me. My life is a thousand times better.

“My life, not my career, not my music. I’m talking about my actual life. And I really, truly think that this show has been my best f****** friend throughout all of that. And I’m so genuinely sad.”
