Alejandro Garnacho fired back at a fan who taunted him outside Old Trafford before Manchester United's match on Thursday.
The Argentine winger was busy signing autographs for supporters as he made his way into the stadium for the match against PAOK, when a home fan confronted him. The 20-year-old had a disappointing performance in Sunday's 1-1 draw against , which seemed to be the subject of the fan's mockery.
"Garnacho you've got to pass better today yeah, please? Just pass better today," the fan said. Initially, didn't respond and turned away from the heckler, reports . But the fan persisted, adding: "Score a goal, and work on your first touch as well yeah?"
then had had enough, as he replied: "Why are you not playing?" before walking off. The supporter, undeterred, continued his commentary even after Garnacho had moved on, as he said: "Well he did not like that."

Despite being hailed as one of the shining lights in United's 2023/24 season, with 10 goals in 50 appearances, Garnacho has found it tough to hit the same heights this campaign. He squandered two golden opportunities against Chelsea and often lost possession throughout the match.
His performance, along with Marcus Rashford's, was heavily criticised by for their lack of impact and effort. Neville has given a mixed review of the club's young talents on The Gary Neville Podcast, as he said: "I'm not going to dig Rashford and Garnacho out - but I am.
"Because they are two players who have come through the ranks. With that comes some credit, the fact that you're an academy player and you get a level of buy-in from the fans because of that.
"The first ethic is that you have to work hard. I'm not saying that Garnacho and Rashford do not work hard, but they can work harder. I know that. That's in their defensive work - which then, I think, gives you the reward in your attacking play."
Despite this, Garnacho kept his place in the team against PAOK, while Rashford was benched in favour of Amad - who scored twice to give United their first win in the Europa League so far.
