Alisson Becker reportedly struggled to walk up a set of stairs as he made his way to the team bus after

The Brazil goalkeeper and was visibly furious as he received treatment before leaving the pitch.

Alisson missed games against Bournemouth and West Ham in September due to a hamstring injury and Virgil van Dijk said after the win over Palace that it appeared as though the 'keeper had aggravated the problem.

"Alisson's injury doesn't look good," Van Dijk said. "It looks like a hamstring injury which was already bothering him, and from which he recovered."

The reported that Alisson gave a gentle, but unenthusiastic, thumbs-up to reporters as he made his way towards the team bus, but that he struggled when walking up a set of stairs at the stadium.

Arne Slot admitted that the timing of Alisson's injury is not ideal, given the Reds' fixture schedule after the international break looks extremely difficult. "It is a tough run of fixtures. We probably won't be as dominant as we were today when we play Arsenal [later in October]," Slot said. "All fixtures are difficult. It is up to us to show up in the big games. Unfortunately Ali will not be with us in those matches, I assume, because of how he walked off."

With Caoimhin Kelleher absent from the matchday squad through illness, Vitezslav Jaros replaced Alisson against Palace, and Slot revealed after the match that Liverpool turned down the 23-year-old's request to leave Anfield during the summer transfer window.

"It was very good to see," Slot said after handing Jaros his debut. "With Caoimhin being sick, our third goalkeeper got his chance. It is always nice for a team when everybody is involved.

"He had a very good season, winning the league and cup where he was in Austria [on loan at Sturm Graz]. He wanted to go because he wanted to play but we stopped him because we needed a good third goalkeeper and we were right."
