is ready to raise a lot of money but her husband is concerned about her over the next five days to raise money for charity.

The judge is taking on the challenge of cycling from her mum's house in Cornwall to the studio in London in five days this week to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise appeal. She has already spoken about not being and wants fans to honk their support along the way.

But Amanda - who married Chris Hughes back in 2008 - has shared that her husband is "losing sleep" about her taking part in the mission. As much as he loves his wife being out of the house, the record producer is a bit worried as she gets set to embark on the mega charity ride.

Fearless 53-year-old radio star Amanda, shared her hubby's concerns and said: “Chris hasn’t been able to sleep. He woke me up the other day and said, ‘Do you know what you’re wearing?’ And then he’s like, ‘I don’t think we’ve thought this through. He told me ‘Normally I look forward to it when you’re not in the house but now I am really worried about you'.”

Amanda also told The Sun that Chris - who she has been married to for nearly 16 years - will be meeting her at the end point. She added: “He’s even promised to meet me at the end. Chris hates attention and he hates being on camera but he wants to meet me at the end. He never worries about me but I think he really is."

The annual appeal raises money for small charities across the UK, including those supporting mental health and domestic abuse helplines and community projects. Amanda said: “With Global Make Some Noise, 100 per cent of your donation goes to the actual charity and it supports all of the tiny, community charities that really struggle for money. That why it’s so special to me.

“I’ve always said we put our arms around these charities and make them feel wanted and just support them. Some of these charities are so new and young and often they are born from people experiencing real tragedy in their lives. They make a positive impact and a difference. I’m all for that. You know, if everyone who was listening to Heart Breakfast donated a pound we would make millions.”

Amanda will pedalling fast through Somerset and then Wiltshire, before she heads through Surrey before the final leg, setting off for London's west end. She wants everyone to show their support in different ways, by donating or just a simple beep if they see the star out and about.
