Andrew Garfield quietly splits from professional witch girlfriend Dr Kate Tomas

Andrew Garfield has quietly split up from Dr Kate Tomas.

The , 41, and the spiritual mentor, 42, have announced they split "months ago" after their brief romance. The duo were last spotted at annual tennis tournament in July.

Now, after being questioned on her post, Kate has explained the pair's separation to a fan. However, she seemingly revealed the split had been amicable in her positive response.

After a fan quizzed her on her and The Amazing Spider-Man star's relationship, she wrote: "We broke up months ago but I'm sure he will be happy to know that he is loved."

A user then told Kate to avoid talking about the star due to the fact he "never spoke of her". However, she slammed back: "Sweetheart, the only people who ever talk about or centre a man in my life, work, business, and social media are women like you."

A source previously spoke to about Andrew and Kate's romance saying: "Things are fairly new between Andrew and Kate, but she’s down to earth and he feels very comfortable with her. Andrew really appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated. He thinks she has a great sense of humour and she’s easy to talk to."

Kate, who has , has spoke in the past of their connection to . They had first been spotted together in March 2024 as they packed on the PDA in their first outing as a couple.

She took the time to deny placing any spells on the star and explained: "'It's not about the magic spells or manipulation. It has got nothing to do with how perfect their teeth are — thank you, Reddit — or whether they conform to conventional standards of beauty. People that are really attractive are full of charisma because they are authentically themselves and confidently anchored in that. Magic takes time. It can't happen overnight."

She also revealed she identifies queer and "neurodiverse", following her autism and ADHD diagnosis. Elsewhere in the chat, she labelled herself disabled as she struggles with endometriosis and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a degenerative genetic condition.

The "professional witch" also described her "many tattoos" to the publication, with one particularly standing on her left hand, which reads: "F*** politeness." She explained its strong meaning, saying: "Women are socialised to please others over their own safety. I’m absolutely never going to do that."

Prior to Andrew and Kate's short romance, the actor had been linked to social media personality Olivia Brower. Before that, he was romantically involved with his Amazing Spider-Man co-star .

The pair dated were romantically linked from 2011. It's said the duo started dating during production of the film and rumours suggest they broke up four years later. No statement confirming the news had been released, however.
