Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts and Beyonce lead stars voting on election day in America

A-listers Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, and Eva Longoria have cast their ballots in support of Kamala Harris as America hits the polls.

On , 'Pretty Woman' icon Roberts posted a snap donning a POTUS tee emblazoned with the female symbol, alongside an "I voted." sticker. Her caption read: "There is a time to hope, there is a time to pray and there is time to vote. Today is the day."

A vocal supporter, Roberts has previously backed Ms Harris, even showing up at her campaign rallies. Meanwhile, 'The Devil Wears Prada' star Hathaway shared a selfie sporting her own ballot sticker, declaring: "I voted like half the country’s lives depended on it, I voted for Kamala Harris." She hinted at abortion issues influencing her vote, a key topic in Harris's presidential bid.

Over in the Republican camp, has voiced his views against late-term abortions and took credit for the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade, which now lets states set their own abortion regulations. 'House Of Cards' actor Michael Kelly also joined the fray, posting a photo with his wife Karyn, captioning it: "This @dudes4Harris and his kick ass better half just #Voted We did our part! ! ! ! ".

, who sang her heart out at a rally supporting Ms Harris on Monday, also shared that she's completed her voting duties. On the star-studded roster of early voters were Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon, Blake Lively along with hubby , Jennifer Aniston, and Michelle Pfeiffer, all showing they had cast their ballots ahead of time.

Over on Instagram, Longoria not only provided tips for Election Day, but also penned the empowering words: "Your vote is your voice! " Meanwhile, Lizzo made her stance clear by posting a snap on Instagram while attending a campaign event for Ms Harris, captioning it: "Today’s the day! Let’s win this."

Earlier in the day, donned Pamela Anderson’s red Baywatch swimsuit as she encouraged US citizens to go out to vote in the American presidential election. The US singer, who backed Kamala Harris in the race to the White House before the polls opened on Tuesday, posted a rare music video to her Cowboy Carter single Bodyguard.

The clip, titled Beywatch, takes its name from the lifeguard series starring Anderson and shows 43-year-old Beyonce holding a toy gun with a flag saying “vote”. She also appears to be wearing the black sleek clothes, a nod to Barb Wire, which Anderson wore when she played the superhero during the 1996 film of the same name.

Anderson shared an Instagram story of the post, with a love heart emoji, and joked “Don’t call me Bey”. Beyonce has previously told GQ magazine that she did not make music videos for Renaissance or Cowboy Carter as she sees them as a “distraction from the quality of the voice and the music”.

The new two-and-a-half-minute clip also made reference to Halloween with white text at the end saying “Happy Beylloween” then “Vote”. Beyonce appeared at a rally for Ms Harris last month and told the audience: “For all the men and women in this room, and watching around the country, we need you.”

She added she was “here as a mother,” to talk about how her children would see “the sacrifices made so we can witness the strength of a woman … reimagining what leadership is”.
