As hosts Ant and Dec kicked off the show and welcomed its celebrities, and minutes into the programme Dec joked: "It will be nice for her to face trial that doesn't involve Rebekah Vardy." It is of course in reference to Coleen's highly public clash with
Just hours before the show started, Rebekah tried to prove she is ignoring all the drama surrounding Coleen's appearance on the show. Rebekah has also starred on the programme back in 2017. The Scouse star, 38, famously accused of leaking stories to The Sun with an infamous social media post. Rebekah kicked off high-profile libel battle but in July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true".

When asked if she would tune into to Rebekah told the Sun: "Absolutely, we’ll be watching avidly. Everyone seems to think I have this massive problem with Coleen going into the jungle. But do you know what? If you want to fan the fire, the flames are going to get higher. I wasn’t going to carry on talking about this, I had no intention of talking about it, but she clearly can’t let it go."

Hosts Ant and Declan were forced to reveal some "bad news" with fans ahead of the return. The pair took to their joint account to divulge their news as Declan said: "Hi everybody, Ant and Dec here. But you knew that. We've got a little update for you, because we know lots of you've been asking about Jungle Club this year. We've got some good news and we got some bad news. I'll start with the bad news, shall I?"
Ant then added: "Jungle Club will not be going on straight after the main show. Sorry. The good news is it will be going on straight after the new ITV2 show. Yay!" Dec continued: "So we are back, but we're a little bit later. Yes, we are. It's Jungle Club: Late & Live. One for all you night owls out there." The Jungle Club will see Ant and Dec go live on Instagram after the main show as they give their opinions, reactions, share stories and give some exclusive insider details.
