Bake Off fans say 'steady on' as Alison Hammond stuns tent with cheeky quip

The Great British Bake Off took a cheeky turn on Tuesday's episode during the technical challenge as part of Dessert Week.

Host revealed to the tent that judge, Prue Leith, had requested for the bakers to whip up a quintessentially British dessert of spotted dick, accompanied by a silky smooth crème anglaise.

Co-host couldn't resist quipping: "You have two hours and 15 minutes in order to get your d**k ready!" eliciting roars of laughter across the tent.

Amidst the hilarity, a chuckling Noel, 51, reminded them: "Come on now, kids, this is a family show!" Meanwhile, , now X, users didn't hold back, sharing their amusement at the cheeky banter.

Comments flooded in from entertained fans, with one tweeting: "Steady on Alison #GBBO" alongside an emoji showing shock. Others joined in with messages like: "Alison #GBBO" paired with crying emojis and "the innuendos of innuendos from Alison #GBBO" accentuated with laughing faces while another fan remarked: "Oh my Alison! What a sentence! #GBBO", reports .

As Dessert Week came to an end, it was time to reveal who had won Star Baker and who was sadly leaving. It was revealed that Dylan Bachelet was this week's Star Baker while Sumayah Kazi was sadly eliminated.

Sharing a letter from Sumayah after their exit on the offIcial social media account, it read: "Well... what can I say? To all my fellow bakers who made the experience what it was, they're my second family, we had the best laughs (and cries) together and I can't imagine life without you all now. Bake Off has been the most wonderful experience of my life and I'm so grateful to be part of it.

"I still can't wrap my head around it! It has truly changed my life for the better, I've gained a newfound sense of confidence, motivation and friends for life. Leaving the Tent certainly comes with a cohort of mixed emotions but I am so proud of everything I managed to achieve (a Showstopper handshake was beyond my wildest dreams!) and I left the Tent with the biggest smile on my face.
