BBC EastEnders fans 'rumble' Drew Peacock's real identity after Elaine's reaction

Send Push

Drew Peacock's debut on caused quite the stir, as Elaine Peacock was seen screaming at them when it became apparent they knew each other.

Drag queen Drew Peacock was asked to perform at The Vic for Elaine's hen do, by her grandson Johnny Carter. But as the performer took to the stage, there was a rather awkward moment. Drew immediately recognised Elaine, who equally looked stunned to see Drew.

Drew was heard shouting out: "Elaine Peacock..." after spotting Elaine in the crowd, causing her to march over. Suddenly Elaine shocked everyone there, as she screamed at Drew to get out of the pub immediately.

Clearly horrified to see them, it wasn't explained how they knew each other or what the drama was. That said fans had been suspicious after noticing Drew's stage surname Peacock was the same surname as Elaine's.

So are the pair related? More will be revealed on the soap this week about how the pair are linked, as Elaine is left shaken after the encounter in the next episode.

Fans think they know who Drew is though and how they are linked to Elaine. Some viewers believe Drew could in fact be Linda's biological father.

Linda's dad is said to have died some time ago, and some fans are wondering if he might actually be alive. Another theory is that Linda has never met her real father, and that Drew might be her dad.

Taking to X after seeing the telling scenes with Elaine, they were sure they had worked out the truth. One viewer said: "This new storyline spun me. Is this Drew Peacock Elaine’s brother or Linda’s actual dad?"

Another fan said after the scenes: "Could Drew peacock be Linda’s dad, Elaine’s ex husband who isn’t actually dead?" A third fan wrote: "I think he’s Linda’s real dad. The brother of Elaine’s previous husband," while a fourth viewer commented: "I have a feeling that Drew Peacock is either Elaine's son or Linda's Biological father."

Viewers will have to tune in this week to find out who exactly Drew is, what their link is to Elaine and why she wants them to leave. The scene in the pub had sparked suspicion not only because of Elaine's erratic response to seeing Drew, but also because Linda had only just commented about her late father.

Earlier in the episode, Linda was heard telling Elaine how if her dad was still alive, she'd have wanted him at her wedding. She also told Elaine that he'd want her to move on and be happy.
