Bobby Brazier breaks silence on new TV job after EastEnders amidst 'break'

runner-up has admitted that he doesn't feel like a 21 year old due to his busy working schedule, but aslsop fame and being in the limelight since he was young.

The actor, 21 rose to his own fame as Freddy Slater on and last year had made it to the final of 2023 alongside his partner Dianne Buswell. Fans were not sure of his next career move so may be surprised that the 21 year old has already onto his new role as in new tv series Curfew.

Bobby plays school lad and troublemaker James in the new show, premieres October 10th, surrounded by other young actors, compared to the older bunch he's used to.

In an interview ahead of the premier he said: "I hadn’t really had the chance to work with actors my age very much either, so that was very cool. We’ve stayed in touch – there’s a group chat going on."

Bobby stars alongside 2008 winner in the show and said of colleague: "I found Alexandra Burke really inspiring. We did a lot of scenes together as she played our teacher. I would love to do what she has done and go into the West End. I would love to be talented enough to get up on stage and sing and dance every night. But I know how much hard work goes into that.

"I think I need to step away from acting for a bit and have a break - I am twenty years old, but I haven’t felt twenty in a very long time. But ultimately, I want to be good at what I do, so any opportunity that presents itself where I can progress and learn, I will take," he said.

Bobby has played Freddie since 2022 in and clearly has found his new love for acting. Speaking about her career he said: “I love my job. I love being on EastEnders and I love modelling. But I’ll probably take a break at some point. Just travel, get inspired, meet new people.”

At first the shy 21-year old had struggled with being in the spotlight whilst he was on Strictly and had "wanted to get voted off." He believes his shyness is due to losing his mum at the age of five. He said: “I don’t want to be famous. Maybe I did when I was younger, now I just want to act," he continued.
