Car passenger flung to ground 'by motorcyclist in road rage hit-and-run attack'

A motorcyclist allegedly grabbed a car passenger and threw them to the ground in a fit of road rage captured on a dashcam.

The footage starts with the car chasing the bike, which is reported to have hit the vehicle before riding off. The driver then took chase through a neighbourhood in Southall, west London, including a journey round and round a junction.

The car then comes to a stop and a door is heard opening. Moments later, a man is seen flying into the back of a parked car, as the motorbike then rides away at speed.

The incident happened at 2.50pm on Saturday, October 5. The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of a video of a collision circulating on social media. Police were called at 3.49pm on Saturday, 5 October to reports of a collision at Crosslands Avenue, Southall.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene, a male pedestrian had been in collision with a motorbike.

“The injured man was taken by LAS to a north London hospital where his injuries were not life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the rider of the motorbike which did not stop at the scene.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident who has not yet spoken with police should call 101 or post on X @‌MetCC quoting 4434/5OCT.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We were called at 3.47pm on Saturday, 5 October to reports of a road traffic collision in Crosslands Avenue, Southall.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew. Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”

The road is lined with cars including Range Rovers and the average price of the detached houses in the area is around £1.3million. The footage was shared online.

One person joked: “If police can’t catch bikes what made you think you can, and that bike looks like it’s at least 600cc.”

Another added: “What in the GTA?”
