Trump became renowned for a dance move that he performed and now several athletes across the Atlantic have begun trying to copy him. Pulisic became the latest man to do so as he scored against Jamaica during the USA's win in the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final.
The ex-Chelsea man, now plying his trade with AC Milan, celebrated by doing what is known as the 'Trump Dance', but insisted his motivation wasn't political and he'd seen star Jon Jones do so over the weekend.

He said: "I saw everyone doing it yesterday in the , I saw Jon Jones do it, and we were just having a bit of fun. I thought it was a pretty fun dance. Obviously, that's the 'Trump Dance' but it was just a dance that everyone was doing. He's the one who created it, and I thought it was funny."
Pulisic added: "It's not a political dance. It was just for fun. I saw a bunch of people do it and thought it was funny, so I enjoyed it."
Jones did the dance over the weekend at UFC 309 in Madison Square Garden after securing his first. He later came out of the octagon and gave his belt to Trump, who was in attendance at the event in New York. Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers also did the dance after scoring a touchdown on Sunday, but he too said it was inspired by UFC star Jones.
Nick Bosa, the San Francisco 49ers star defensive end, was fined $11,255 by the NFL for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat during a postgame television interview because it violated the league’s NFL uniform and equipment rules.
Last week, Bosa celebrated a sack during San Francisco’s victory over Tampa Bay by doing the Trump dance with teammates. College players have also been doing it for weeks as the celebration continues to gather momentum in light of the presidential campaign.
