Brits have revealed their favourite classic arcade games, and it's time to see if you can tell your shoot 'em ups from your Street Fighters with this quiz.
A recent survey of 2,000 Brits found that Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Super Mario Bros are considered the most legendary arcade games ever. Other classics like pinball (16%), Tetris (15%), and Donkey Kong (9%) also made the cut.
A spokesperson for OLBG, who commissioned the study, said: "Old arcade games are great fun."
"For millions, they're a reminder of happy, carefree memories of childhood, when having a 50p or 10p, depending on your vintage on the cabinet to show you were 'next' was the most important thing in the world."
"Older arcade games also often have a simplicity that's missing in modern life, from video games to all other aspects of being an adult."
How many can you guess correctly?
One in three adults wish they could play some of these games more frequently than they do as half haven't played arcade games in years.
And despite 75% of those surveyed claiming it's not about winning a cheeky 49% admit they still get overly competitive.
A spokesperson for OLBG said: "Arcades offer a variety of amusements, each with its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Classic games like Donkey Kong are great for trying to beat your high score."
"More physical games like air hockey allow you to compete against friends and family. And then there are games of chance or skill like claw machines or slot machines, where you might even win a prize."
"All these elements combine to create one of the most nostalgic experiences you can have."
