Netflix has released season six part two on the streaming platform, with five more episodes available to watch.

The first five were unveiled earlier this year in July and fans have been waiting patiently for the next batch to be released. Before you binge-watch the newest episodes, here's a recap of everything that happened in the last instalment to get you up to speed.

The season began with the students of both Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang preparing for the Sekai Taikai, following the demise of Cobra Kai.

The Miyagi-Do dojo found out that the Sekai Taikai would be held in Barcelona and only six fighters will be allowed to represent each dojo.

In order to determine which six fighters would be going forward to represent, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence brought in Mike Barnes to shake down the dojo.

Hawk, Robby, Miguel, Sam, Tory, Mitch, Kenny, Nate, Chris, Demetri, Devon and Anthony were chosen by Barnes to move on to the second round of eliminations. Eventually, it was decided that Miguel, Devon, Demetri, Eli, Samantha and Robby would represent in Spain.

Sam, Tory, Miguel and Robby faced off against one another to become team captains in a high-stakes battle. Robby was made team captain, while Sam became the second team captain by default, while Devon got into the final six by cheating.

In the finale, Tory was heartbroken to find out her mother had died unexpectedly due to an undetected blood clot. Despite being hit by a wave of grief, she channelled it into aggression for her fight against Sam for the captain's spot.

Just as she was about to score the winning point, Daniel intervened as Tory blurted out the news of her mother's death before leaving the team and forfeiting the position to Sam.

The incident caused a huge argument between Daniel and Johnny over how the situation should have been handled, leading to a furious punch-up.

The last moments of the fifth episode saw the Miyagi-Do team arrive in Barcelona for the tournament, where they encountered Kreese and Da-eun's new Cobra Kai representing South Korea, led by Kwon and Tory.

Cobra Kai Season 6 part two is streaming on Netflix from November 15
