After a four-month hiatus, Netflix has released the next batch of Cobra Kai episodes with fans being treated to five more chapters of the final season.

Despite not being in the final series, actor Thomas Ian Griffith left a lasting impression as his character Terry Silver for seasons four and five.

He was originally seen in The Karate Kid Part 3 back in 1989, serving as the main antagonist before reprising his role in the fourth season of Cobra Kai in 2021.

Here's everything you need to know about Thomas from his height to his co-star wife as well as him initially turning down the iconic role...

Height

Thomas is a whopping 6ft 5 and has a muscular physique, which comes in handy as he's a trained martial artist in Tae Kwon Do, which he learnt from Master Jun Chong.

Terry Silver role

When he was cast as Terry Silver in The Karate Kid 3, Thomas thought the role was out of reach because he was 28 at the time of casting and the character was a Vietnam War veteran.

The actor also thought it was strange to cast someone younger than co-star Ralph Macchio as Daniel's older antagonist.

However, he went on to take on the role and it ended up taking his career to new heights. He reprised his role for Cobra Kai in 2021 and featured as the antagonist for the fourth and fifth season.

Cobra Kai season six part two is now streaming on Netflix.
