Coleen Rooney to 'step out of comfort zone' as source admits she's 'been through a lot'

Coleen Rooney is reportedly set to launch a new podcast offering listeners and celebrity guests advice, while drawing on her own life experiences.

The 38-year-old has had a busy few years after being embroiled in the world-famous Wagatha Christie court case and subsequent documentary The Real Wagatha Story. The Merseyside-born mum is also kept busy looking after her four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass in their £20m Cheshire mansion.

Coleen's husband, former Everton and player Wayne, is based 260 miles away from their family home after taking over the head coach position at Plymouth Argyle in the summer. Despite her hectic life, a source has told heat magazine that producers are eyeing her up for her own podcast after starring in a recent episode of Fearne Cotton's Happy Place.

The source said: "Producers think she's a great guest and would be an even better host. They want a show where listeners message her with their problems and she gives help and advice, all while drawing on her own experiences.

"Coleen's been through a lot that could help others, and she had a very understandinf and non-judgemental way with people. Despite her wealth and fame, she's still seen as very down-to-earth and trustworthy.

"If the show's a success, bosses would love to get a celebrity version, where Coleen talks to her famous friends and gives them life advice. Among her friends and family, Coleen is the one they always turn to for help to solve their problems."

Coleen's potential career change comes ahead of Wayne's 39th birthday later this month, when the family plans to celebrate. A source told Closer magazine that the mum-of-four has put her husband on a "health and fitness kick" after getting a "shock" during a recent visit.

While gears up for a special celebration, Coleen has opted to stay at their lavish £20m Cheshire home. Opening up to the Mail on Sunday, Wayne explained that Coleen wouldn't be accompanying him to the South West.

The decision to remain in the picturesque North West with their children is seen as Coleen's strategy to strengthen their relationship, instead of leaving their family abode in Cheshire, as some speculated.

Despite raising her four sons with Wayne living so far away, the source says that Coleen is "excited" to step into the of presenting. They said: "It would be a step out of her comfort zone, as Coleen hasn't presented anything in such a long time.

"But she loved doing interviews last year to promote her autobiography and documentary. It gave her a feel for it all again, and she knew she just needed to wait for the right project, something she feels passionate about and that she can fit around her family. A podcast would be perfect.
