Looking to be a little more creative with your decorations this year?
A crafts expert may have the answer with a genius way to liven up any room's festive display. DIY guru Brooklyn regularly shares home and advice with her 950,000 followers on - and her latest offering is so good it has gone on the social media platform.
Using a round tube of foam noodle similar to a swimming aid float, she began by carefully slicing a straight cut down its length before clipping it on the trim above her windows. "Hook it in place and do it across the whole thing," she advised.

Next she took pieces of red Christmas foliage including faux holly and poinsettias, and placed them across the foam. "You really want to fill this out with all different types of foliage," she continued. "Garland ties make such a good filler - you can scatter these in first, the order doesn't matter."
"I also love adding cute accent pieces," Brooklyn said as she added a couple of Santa hats to her creation. Once the foam was no longer visible, she took a large bow and attached it to a garland tag in the centre to complete the job. "I'm so excited to show you this," she declared ahead of her grand reveal.
"Here it is, I love this," she said proudly, panning around the reds and greens of her work. "This really gives it such a cool touch." The clip, which has been viewed almost three million times, prompted one Facebook user to gush: "That looks really good… never seen inside windows decorated." Another added excitedly: "I love this, I have noodles ordered!"
A third praised: "Gorgeous, looks great you can do that for any holiday, great idea. Love it. And so easy." While a fourth person said: "You can literally recycle the whole lot and rearrange for next Xmas."
