It's been claimed that Elanga was the absent for their team meal after beating Estonia 3-0 in Tallinn. "I tried to call him again but we haven't been in touch yet. But I'm sure we'll be in touch before the next gathering [in March]. There is a lot of time left until then. It is a bit but we cannot change it. He might be very busy. I don't know."

Asked by if Elanga was angry with him, the former manager replied: "I don't know. You can ask Anthony yourself if he was angry or not. I don't know. I don't think I'm the right person to ask that. It's better to ask him."

Elanga, who Forest paid £15million to sign from United in August 2023, registered an assist against Newcastle on Sunday, only for the Magpies to turn the game around and win 3-1. In 19 caps for Sweden, the 22-year-old has scored three goals.
