We may still be weeks away from the big day but season is in full swing already with brands ranging from to , to already cutting prices on thousands of products. But for bargain hunting shoppers one of the biggest and best early Black Friday sales live right now has come courtesy of , which has slashed a with no exceptions, meaning shoppers can rack up huge savings not just on the iconic hooded blanket that's become a wintry staple for many of us but dozens of other products besides.

The Aussie loungewear brand’s hooded blanket has become a firm favourite with shoppers and sparked everyone from the White Company to Poundland to make their own versions. What's more, this year's Black Friday discounts sees the design that sparked it all , £32.50, which actually makes it cheaper than .

But if you think Oodie is only about then you’re actually missing out, not just on some great deals this Black Friday but some other geuinely game-changing garments. Sleep Oodie - was from £45 now from £22.50

I’ve tried many different Oodie products over the last few years, having bought my first, , version of the to stay warm while working from home because I didn’t want to turn the heating on when I was the only person in the house. There’s no doubt we all love the iconic cosywear, with its elasticated sleeves that mean you never get tangled up or risk an unwelcome draught and the epic pocket perfect for phone, snacks and even the remote control if you want to hide it from anyone who might turn off your binge watch of choice.

But anyone who’s tried to sleep in the full OG thickness Oodie will know you can sometimes have too much of a good thing with the blanket eventually likely to leave you feeling too hot to sleep. This is where the genius of the comes in.

Made of bamboo cotton and as generously sized as its fleecy cousin, the joy of the Sleep Oodie comes from the fact that the material allows a kind of temperature regulation that I’d seen in wicking workout gear before but never thought of in my nightwear. The thermo-regulating properties of bamboo that cool you down while exercising help keep you cool in summer but warm in winter.

It’s very baggy, which for some people might be a deal breaker, and the cotton means it takes a while to dry but it’s genuinely the comfiest sleepwear I’ve ever owned and is perfect if you start the night feeling cold but get warmer as you sleep - it’s won plenty of devotees among women going through hot flushes.

are available in a wide range of different designs with prices starting from £22.50 which is not just considerably cheaper than when but also better value than a lot of other high street nightwear, meaning I’m seriously considering another one.

Outdoor Oodie was £109 now £54.50

It’s not just Oodie’s premium sleepwear that is suddenly cheaper than lots of other solid high street equivalents. I’ve been wearing for weeks and the sale makes it better value than plenty of other winter coats I’d been eyeing as the weather changed.

While the oversized pockets and giant hood and general feeling of cosiness are a staple, there are several differences between the outdoor iteration compared to its indoor alternative and for me they’re all reasons it’s a must-buy. While I love an Oodie more than most, initially I was a bit concerned that an would be too shapeless to wear out and about. But, unlike the traditional ones, the Outdoor Oodie comes in several (still very generous) sizes, meaning you can choose something big enough to wear as many layers underneath as you want, but without looking like you’re wearing a tent.

It has a nifty double zip that means you can easily adjust how you do it up but my absolute favourite feature as someone who constantly gets cold hands and wrists is the thumbhole that keeps the sleeves in place no matter the weather. As someone who likes to walk at the beach no matter the time of year it’s become my winter coat of choice.

Oodie shoes - were £59 now £29.50

When shopping writer and self-confessed sneakerhead Rachel Pugh while taking her dog on muddy winter walks she was expecting to have warm feet as she walked, but perhaps what was more surprising was her coming away feeling the shoes ‘were the best she’d ever bought.’

She explains: “Oodie's Black Puffer Boots initially reminded me of , a style I've been eyeing for some time. But besides being cheaper, Oodie's had another advantage - a beautiful Sherpa fleece interior lining, meaning you don't even need to wear thick socks to experience a cloud-like feel on your feet.

“With both style and practicality covered, I took the leap and placed my order, and I'm glad I did. Since my arrived, I can honestly say I've worn them every single day. They feel like a slipper, with a fleece lining and padded heel support, but they have a rubber sole design that allows you to wear them outside without worrying about leaks or wear and tear.

Weighted Blanket - was £97 now £47.50

Weighted blankets use the scientific principles behind deep pressure stimulation to promote deeper, more restful sleep, with some fans also saying it helps deal with anxiety and stress. usually costs £95 and is available in several colours and three weights - 4.5kg, 6.8kg and 9kg. The weight is dispersed evenly throughout the blanket, so you get even distribution across your body.

Writer Phoebe Barton she described it as a ‘comforting hug of a blanket.’ She added: “ can be used underneath your duvet so it's directly on your body, but I prefer having the blanket on top of my duvet. That night when I got into bed, the blanket felt a little heavy at first, but by the time I snuggled down to sleep after reading a couple of chapters of my book, my body had become used to the weight which felt warm and comforting.

“I drifted off to sleep quickly and found I fidgeted a lot less, prompting me to wake up fewer times in the night. Whenever I woke up to turn over, it was so cosy and relaxing feeling the weight of the blanket on top of me - it felt like I was being hugged.”

She added: “ is a permanent addition to my bed throughout the autumn and winter. I've found it to be more effective than the three ordinary blankets I usually have on top of my duvet combined.”

Oodie Slippers - were from £49 now from £24.50

Oodie makes several different styles of slippers, ranging from through to and slides. I have a pair of the which have been perfect for late summer into autumn.

I love the style of them, they remind me of but without the restraint of the elastic heel strap. They have a decent sole for when you need to slip outside for a minute or two but are still comfy.

I might move back to - or wear these with socks - for the lowest temperatures but overall I find these cool enough when temperatures are decent but still cosy enough for all but the chilliest of weather.

And one thing we haven’t reviewed (yet): Oodie Cushion Case - was £10 now £5

As a woman with multiple Oodies (everyone needs a one, right?), Sleep Oodies, slippers and an outdoor coat version, you’d think I wouldn’t need anything from the . But a genius new product has caught my eye and at this price I’m planning on buying two.

The is now reduced to £5 and, as someone who struggles on space to store my Oodies in the summer - I don’t want to put them in the loft but they take up a chunk of space in the top of the wardrobe - this feels like a great way and functional way to store them. If you've got an Oodie superfan in your life this may be the thing they didn't even know they needed this Christmas - and at £5 it is the cheapest item in the as well as arguably one of the handiest.
