Frank Lampard might be able to fulfil 's wishes for his managerial career with Roma reportedly interested in his services.

Roma haven't clinched a domestic trophy since 2008 when they won both the Italian Cup and Super Cup. However, under the guidance of Lampard's ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, they secured their first-ever European accolade in 2022 with the Conference League.

Mourinho left in January and was replaced by De Rossi, who failed to establish the same legacy he did as a Roma player and was given the boot after just seven months in charge. Lampard's prospects of landing a similar role in England seem slim following his Everton tenure.

However, the report claimed it was senior figures at Goodison Park that recommended him to the Friedkin Group, who own a majority stake in Roma and are set to complete a takeover of the Toffees.
