Gary Barlow strips off for bath scene with pal minutes into ITV show

ITV viewers received more than they bargained for as they witnessed a seemingly naked Gary Barlow minutes into his brand new series, Gary Barlow's Wine Tour: South Africa.

His new show, Gary Barlow's Wine Tour: South Africa, officially kicked off on Monday at 2pm (November 11) and saw the 53-year-old explore his passion for discovering new wine and foods as he made his journey into the Western Cape of South Africa. But minutes into the programme, fans were stunned when Gary stripped down for a relaxing wine bath.

As his pal Eliot Kennedy joined him in the tub, the two men indulged in hot water. Laying back, Gary said: "This is bliss!" He added: "It's quite nice though in here I must say."

Viewers at home were left rather surprised and headed straight to social media platform X to share their thoughts on the scenes. One viewer said: "I'm Going to have to explain to the kids why I’m late on the school run. Sorry, @GaryBarlow. I have to drop you in it as I’m engrossed watching your Wine Tour."

Another said: "Fabulous little Monday afternoon pickup on @‌ITV with @‌GaryBarlow and Eliot Kennedy." A third went on: "My two main loves of my life @‌GaryBarlow and wine (laughing emoji)."

A fourth viewer added: "@‌GaryBarlow is literally showing me my perfect tour!!Great wines, great food, great locations."

Singer Gary, who was previously once a judge on ITV's The , said he's delighted to be returning to TV for his very own programme. He also explained that since he was already travelling at the time, it made sense to do the show.

He shared: "It’s a pleasure to be back! I’ve not really done anything like this on TV before, so in terms of where the idea came from, I wanted it to be something new. I was fortunately alreadytravelling around the a bit for my own wine business and getting to see these amazing estates, and just having these brand new experiences I felt people should know about all thisand the process too!

"So I had a call with and suggested this very simple idea of metravelling with friends, wine, food, and having good times and they were like, ‘We love it!’ andbefore I knew it we got together with the production company and came up with the ideasabout what the series could be."

Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa airs Monday 11th - Friday 15th November at 2pm on ITV.
