GMB's Richard Madeley takes swipe at daughter Chloe as he labels her 'cheap'

Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley is not known for holding back his views and now his daughter Chloe has found herself in the firing line.

For Richard took a cheeky wsipe at her when they appeared alongside each other on the latest episode of Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening. The pair took part in the show on Saturday alongside Jonathan and Honey Ross and Mel B and Phoenix Brown.

The show sees favourite faces team up with their children in a bid to win money for their chosen charity. Host Romesh gets the parents to bid if they think that their offspring can answer a mixture of list and picture questions based on particular categories.

Chloe, Honey or Phoenix were going to be quizzed on boy band members. Romesh asked how many Mel thought Phoenix could get, and she said she could probably name two. In the end, Honey was the person who had to try and name the group names - and she impressively named seven, winning £700, reports The Sun.

Chloe then said that she thought she would have got 10 out of the 11. The mum-of-one then named the bands that Honey didn't get with ease.

Richard asked his daughter: "How can I make it up to you?" "McDonalds," Chloe replied. Richard said: "That's why I love her, cheap!"

The audience gasped after Richard's shock comment. Jonathan joked: "That's rich coming from the man who won't even by himself pants."

It comes after Romesh appeared on ITV's to promote the show and told the panel that Richard didn't wear underwear. He was sharing details of 'shock revelations' he'd discovered while filming the series alongside his mother Shanthi.

Romesh said: "He just doesn't feel the need for underwear." His mum, who accompanied him on the daytime chat show, told the women: "A man without underwear... I don't like it!"

Chloe recently opened up about growing up in the spotlight as 'Richard and Judy's daughter'

The fitness fanatic admitted that she never knew what she wanted to do growing up, and had always assumed that she would go into TV like her parents.

"Fame isn't a measure of success, and I've made so much more money now than I did when I worked in TV", she said on Olivia Atwood's podcast, So Wrong It's Right. "There is actually no money in TV".
