Former jungle king spoke out about the true state of the ... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle dunny, confirming it's a bit much for those with a weak stomach. The revelation came during the latest episode of 'I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked,' where he joined comedian Joel Dommett and radio host Kemi Rogers to dish the dirt on camp life.

The spin-off show had them covering everything from heart-wrenching moments like Barry McGuigan’s emotional story about his Danika's passing from bowel to the decidedly less poignant realities of camp hygiene. .

Eager to get the scoop, Kemi Rogers quizzed: "How gross is the dunny really, without grossing us out and everyone who's watching talk us through it."

2016 runner-up Joel confessed: "It's quite gross, it really is," prompting Sam's insight: "You get used to it but the first time, he is right, people freeze up for the first few days but then when it all lets loose it gets real heavy real fast! " Joel added, with a dose of humour: "You don't want to be emptying the dunny on day four."

Sam, aged 32, elaborated further: "Well, you have 12 campmates in there at one point and you have to unscrew the lid so you have to look, I'm sorry this is a bit graphic, but you have to look Kemi at everything in there, and you wouldn't believe the waste that come out."

Kemi inquired about the daily waste levels, and Sam confirmed it gets "nearly to the brim". Joe, 39, recounted his jungle dunny experiences, remarking: "You've got to take a peep, because you're like 'I think that's Carol Vorderman's'". Sam chimed in with: "The wild thing is you know who went last as well because they'll come back from the dunny."

then questioned if there was a lock on the dunny, leading Sam to explain: "No, it's just a cloth. Colson, let me tell you something big guy, when you're in there and you're hunkering down the terror you have of someone, because you can see steps coming towards you, you shout 'taken' because you know they're going to come in."

Colson shared his own strategy from his time in : "In Big Brother we couldn't lock the doors so I used to take all my clothes off and put them outside the door to make it clear that I was in there."

Joel then revealed his method for indicating a busy toilet during his camp stint: "We used to put a log outside and that was our thing of, like, it was engaged."
