Harry Styles branded 'incredible person' by 'grandfather figure' Stanley Tucci

Harry Styles has been branded an "incredible person" by a huge Hollywood star.

The Grammy Award winning musician has previously been praised for his kind gestures and continuation to use his platform to support others. Now, Hollywood legend , 63, has opened up about his bond with the musician following the release of his book, What I Ate In One Year, which discusses what he cooks for celebs at dinner parties.

Since finding fame back in 2010 as one fifth of , the former White Eskimo star, 30, has become friends with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Now, Kingsman star Stanley has revealed he was introduced to the Cheshire-born musician through a mutual friend and they instantly hit it off.

"We became friends through a mutual friend," he said on ITV's Lorraine. He added: "I don't know, we just stayed friends." Praising the Boyfriends hitmaker, Stanley continued: "He's just lovely and Felicity and I just love him. I think I'm perhaps sort of a funcular figure for ."

When probed by stand in host Ranvir Singh on whether he sees himself as a "mentor" to Styles, Stanley responded: "Hardly a mentor but at any rate, just like a grandfather, I think he's an incredible guy." While details surrounding their friendship remain scarce, fans were given a brief insight into their bond back at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

Harry walked away with all four awards he was nominated for but praised Stanley who handed him his final award of the night, Album of the Year for his record, Harry's House. "There's literally no one I love more in the than Stanley Tucci, so this means so much," Harry told the audience.

While Harry's producers, Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson were also sharing their thanks, Harry was seen hugging Stanley during a sweet moment. But earlier in the evening, Stanley praised Harry during a chat with Mo Gilligan. He said: "I like that ," which set social media alight.

Stanley's comments come after fans have been speculating about Harry's forthcoming studio album which will be his fourth following the indefinite hiatus of One Direction. It's been two years since Harry's last solo album which he had been touring with on the 2021 - 2023 Love On Tour but fans believe that he could be preparing to drop a new record in the near future.

While there's no official release date, or indeed confirmation that he has been working on an album, fans have speculated that October 18 may be a significant date following reports that Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas had planned to push their albums back, despite originally being slated for release on that date.

"The Swifties are claiming the 18th for Taylor. The Harries are claiming it for Harry Styles. Either way I'm not sleeping well until the 19th," oen fan wrote on X. Meanwhile, podcast Deux U by Deux Moi claimed in September that Harry's new music is dropping sooner than people would expect. "Harry Styles new music is coming sooner than you think. Apparently he is dropping a single very, very soon. Now, do I mean in the next couple days? No, but very soon," they said.
