I’m a guy aged 31 and met a great woman via a and we’ve been chatting for a few weeks. We met up for the first time recently and I don’t know how to put this, but I instantly fell in love with her. I know that sounds mad, but I’ve never felt this way about any other woman I’ve ever met.
When we were chatting, I had to really focus on what she was saying because I felt so blown away by her and kept getting distracted.

It’s not only about how she looks (knockout), but literally everything right from her mannerisms to her laugh and her personality.
I’m trying not to get too ahead of myself, but I keep thinking about introducing her to my friends and family, moving in together, and all that stuff. Do you believe in love at first sight? Is it actually a thing?
I’ve been single for a while since with a long-term girlfriend, although I’ve hooked up with a few people for fun. None of them had this kind of effect on me.
How should I proceed with this? I don’t want to blow it with her.
Coleen saysHold your horses, Romeo! Don’t say all this to her yet because it’ll be overwhelming and might not come across as sincere, even if it’s how you truly feel. I do actually believe in love at first sight but, even if you believe in it, you still need to get to know that person on a deeper level.
You need to find out more about each other’s lives and your hopes and plans for the future.
The bottom line is, you have to find out if you want the same things from life. What if she doesn’t want to get married or be a mum or live with anyone?
You’ve only just met, so you can afford to play it a bit cooler and just enjoy being together and discovering things about each other. This is the really exciting bit, so there’s no need to rush it – let your relationship grow naturally.
Maybe you will be a match made in heaven and you’ll move in together and live happily ever after, but you don’t have to do it after the first date.
Also, this is the first woman you’ve been interested in since breaking up with a long-time love, so be a little careful with your own heart.
