As a beauty writer, I get to try out plenty of different skincare products, but Medik8 is one of those brands that will almost always be a staple in my daily routine. I will, however, readily admit sometimes the price tags can be a little on the high side, which is why the are the perfect time to stock up on the brand.

Designed to tackle signs of ageing, the C-Tetra serum is packed with stabilised vitamin C which helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as brightening your skin tone and giving an even, healthy-looking complexion.

PROS:

Balances your skin

Lightweight and nourishing

Contains a low-irritation form of vitamin C

CONS:

Doubling as both a day and night cream, the r-Retinoate cream contains photostable retinyl retinoate which doesn’t lose its power when exposed to sunlight. Not only does it smooth fine lines and wrinkles, but it also revitalises your skin and visibly illuminates it, with all the benefits of vitamin A, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid in one product.

Some do find it too strong on sensitive skin

Last but certainly not least is my favourite Medik8 product of all time, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. A staple in any skincare routine, it has super long-lasting hydration, as well as plumping up your skin and leaving it visibly bouncy and firm.

PROS:

Incredibly hydrating

Improves hydration both instantly and over time

Can visibly see the difference after using it

Improves the appearance of your skin’s volume

CONS:

Need to use around six drops each time you use it so doesn’t last super long

Need to wait a while for it to absorb before you can apply moisturiser to avoid pilling
