The first trial of the series that has been voted for by the public, titled Vile Volcano, will see GK Barry once again forced to face her fears. She had admitted to viewers in her VT she was scared of everything, and didn't like anything ahead of her in the jungle.

With her screaming and crying out earlier on in the episode, fans wasted no time in voting for her for the next task. When she learned the upsetting news she near enough immediately burst into tears, and was comforted by her co-star Jane Moore.

She kept a brave face when Ant and Dec dropped the big news she would be facing the challenge, but as they left camp she was shown tearfully asking her new pals what she would be up against. Jane reassured her that she would be okay as GK, real name Grace, began crying with fear.

But some viewers began pleading with bosses, calling for a change to the show going forward. There have been a number of series in the past where the same star has been voted for every trial, and now fans fear this fate awaits GK Barry.

Taking to X, viewers begged for bosses to bring in a new rule that made stars exempt from a trial after doing one. One viewer posted: "We beg you please let this be the year that you finally listen to us and make it so it's not the same person shouting in every trial every night it's not actually entertaining!!"

Another fan agreed: "Y'all best not vote GK Barry for every trial like you did ." A third fan said: "I just hope she won't be doing every trial, not a scooby who she is," as a fourth viewer commented: "GK Barry is going to do every trial isn’t she."

Meanwhile, after seeing her reaction to the bugs and challenges, fans believed GK Barry would not last long in the jungle. Given her comments too, fans were convinced she would walk from the show within days.

One fan said: "GK Barry won’t survive 48 hours the rate she’s going." Another agreed: "Either GK Barry Or Colleen will walk out week one trust me," as a third said: "GK Barry isn’t gonna last two days."

Others predicted she could turn it around though, with one writing: "One episode in and GK Barry is already my winner." Another said: "GK Barry is tooo funny," as a third added: "GK Barry is my favourite already! Hilarious."
