Maura Higgins is reportedly set to arrive in the jungle “imminently” after her
The star, 33, was absent from the official line-up for the show earlier this week, but is expected to be a late arrival to the Australian jungle camp next week, along with Reverend Richard Coles. Late arrivals to camp are usual on I’m A Celeb, but has been trying to distract from her appearance in the jungle by going on a shock trip to the US.
Maura, who recently went public with her romance with former star , jetted off to Las Vegas on a lavish trip with beauty brand Space NK, and shared snaps from the trip on . She flew first class and rocked a plunging black bodysuit for a special event for Space NK, before then heading out for a luxury lobster dinner at the Bellagio resort.
Speculation was rife that Maura had already quit I’m A Celeb when she was spotted in Las Vegas, just days before she was due to make her debut in the jungle camp. But according to , Maura will be a late entry to the show alongside Reverend Richard Coles, and will be ready to stir up the drama among the campmates - including , Alan Hallsall and Barry McGuigan - who have been in for a week.

“She will be arriving this week. The brand trip was always part of the schedule as Maura had agreed to it and it fit into her arrival dates for the jungle,” a source told the outlet. and are ready to kick off this year’s series on Sunday night, as they welcome celebs including Tulisa Contostavlos, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, Jane Moore, Melvin Odoom, GK Barry, and Dean McCullough to the jungle.
Last year’s late arrivals were boxer Tony Bellew and jockey , with Tony reaching the final despite not being in the camp from the beginning. Being a late arrival to the camp could actually boost Maura’s chance of being crowned Queen of the Jungle, as she’s currently 7/1 to win.
Former campmate Kim Woodburn, who appeared on the show in 2009, revealed she believes Maura will be the first person to pull out of the show, and claimed the Love Island alum is only in it for the money. “I'd like to think she'll do trials. She looks delicate. We can never tell you know, you can never tell, good luck to her. And if she's she's been paid a lump sum to go in. They all go in for the money, but they deny it,” the 82-year-old told The Sun.
