Is Bianca leaving EastEnders, and does she die? Patsy Palmer's character feared dead

airs dramatic scenes this week, as Reiss Colwell prepares to cover his tracks, but does Bianca Jackson die?

The soap legend, played by actress Patsy Palmer, finally exposed killer Reiss on Tuesday. Wednesday's episode, which dropped on BBC in the morning ahead of airing on BBC One in the evening, teased a tragic fate for her though.

As she confronted Reiss over what she'd learned, it wasn't long before he dropped a murder confession. Things took a dramatic turn though when Bianca vowed to take him down, wanting to go to the police with what she knew.

Her hopes of freeing her innocent sister Sonia Fowler, in prison for Debbie's murder, were met with Reiss' claims he too wanted to reveal all. But soon he had a plan up his sleeve and he took Bianca to a storage unit, where he took action.

As Bianca went inside he confessed he'd led her there under false pretences, before hinting he was about to kill her. Holding what looked like a weapon and a blanket, he said sorry before charging at her - but is Bianca dead?

The storyline had been kept under wraps with nothing given away in spoilers asides a showdown. The spoilers had hinted the story would run all week, while nothing has been given away.

Viewers are convinced Bianca is alive, not believing they would kill off a soap legend in this way especially with the 40th anniversary on the way. But maybe this is one major twist the soap had kept under wraps.

Spoilers for Thursday's episode tease Bianca could be alive, with huge consequences hinted at. The line reads: "Reiss and Bianca’s showdown has huge consequences for them both."

So is Bianca alive after that cliffhanger on Wednesday, and is there a chance she could survive the ordeal and expose Reiss? Or perhaps the soap was being cryptic as not to give away Bianca's true fate, and perhaps by consequences they mean her tragic demise.

This is Bianca's third stint on the show this year, while it's not known if she is now leaving for good. With Reiss eager to silence her, there's every chance he will do just that, and that this is Bianca's permanent exit from the show. Actress Patsy has said nothing to suggest a departure, but viewers will have to stay tuned to find out whether Bianca is Reiss' latest victim, or if this is the moment killer Reiss gets exposed.
