ITV Big Brother's 'harsh' task sparks confusion among viewers

Send Push

Big Brother viewers were left scratching their heads after witnessing two contestants endure a 'severe' task in the most recent episode.

From the live kick-off, participants were split into two distinct groups almost as soon as they set foot inside the house.

They were given the choice of joining the blue or red team and it was revealed that this would determine whether they were Housemates or Non-Housemates, leading to a series of competitive tasks.

In Tuesday's episode, one of the challenges required two housemates to complete a number of dares.

One dare resulted in Rosie being rechristened as Baked Potato, while Thomas had to wear a bucket on his head, reports .

However, when Rosie was subsequently made to consume a blended mixture, it sparked a flurry of questions from viewers at home.

Many fans took to social media, with some questioning if they were watching another popular reality show. One viewer queried: "Am I watching 2023 fast food task , I'm a celeb or something else? ".

Another chimed in: " This dare is giving I'm a celeb drinking trial". This sentiment was echoed by another fan who asked: "When did big brother turn into I'm a celeb?"

The final dare saw Thomas compelled to destroy several personal photos of his fellow housemates before the decision was made on who would face eviction.

The first live eviction voting opens at 10pm tonight (Oct 8) and fans can only cast their vote through the Big Brother app, with viewers being asked to choose who they want to evict from the house.

Friday night will witness the first eviction from the Big Brother house, with hosts and catching all the chatter in the first live interview on Big Brother: Late and Live afterwards.

Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
