is taking part in this year's series of the hit ITV show and was put up for the trial on Tuesday evening. He was tasked with standing in an Egyptian Mummy while it slowly filled with sand as he answered questions. Dean was asked random trivia questions about Egypt, but after just two correct answers he decided to call out " Get Me Out of Here".

It meant Dean had to return to camp with just two stars. He tearfully revealed how the trial went to his campmates, while viewers at home were all left thinking he had made a mistake. Many fans thought his reaction to the trial will mean he will be put up for all the upcoming ones.

One viewer said: "Even though I do feel sorry for Dean with the trial I am going to vote him purely to make him fight his fears." Another added: "i think dean will shed tears when he gets told he’ll be doing the trial bless him." Someone else commented: "the whole of the UK voting dean for the next trial after saying 'i’m a celebrity get me out of here'."

The stars of the 2024 series of the hit show have only just entered camp, yet for Viewers have been watching as the likes of , Danny Jones and get used to jungle life. Hosts and welcomed the celebrities onto the show on Sunday night.

Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles are reportedly set to enter the camp at a later date as the campmates battle to stay in the competition. Yet, for one contestant, they will become the first star to wave goodbye when the public voting begins. While ITV are yet to confirm when the first eviction will take place, it typically happens 14 days after the show launches.

star is far from likely to walk away as Queen of the Jungle, meaning she could be the first to get voted off as bookies place her at 66/1 to win. Richard Coles and Melvin Odoom follow at 33/1. At the other end of the scale, Danny Jones has been put at 15/8 to win while GK Barry is at 7/2. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Two names are running away with things after just a couple of days in the jungle; as things stand, it'll take something pretty special to stop Danny Jones or GK Barry going all the way."
