ITV I'm A Celebrity first look as Coleen Rooney and GK Barry share embrace as they finally meet

In the very first look at the brand-new series of ....Get Me Out Of Here! podcast star and TikTok legend GK Barry is seen hugging it out with WAG as the pair meet for the very first time ahead of their jungle experience.

The new series of kicks off this weekend and several have already been spotted arriving in ahead of the launch, while Coleen Rooney was seen leaving the UK on Monday.

A total of 12 famous faces are expected to spend up to three weeks in camp starting this Sunday night on ITV. While two more stars traditionally enter camp as late arrivals on the long-running show.

In the very first look at the new series, pictures see TikTok star GK Barry, 25, embracing a beaming Coleen, 38, as the other contestants, , Melvin Odoom, and Barry McGuigan, all look on while laughing.

The five campmates appear to have had their first meeting on the sandy Australian beach before heading into the famous jungle where all their luxuries will be stripped away.

It comes after GK Barry unveiled the health struggles she's faced, just days before her stint in the jungle begins. The 25-year-old has faced a tough time health-wise, but she's determined as she prepares for the 2024 series.

Recalling the chaotic recent weeks with humour, Grace shared why she had to skip out on the Pride Of Britain Awards afterparty. "I've been so ill to the point where my manager got me a drip," she shared.

"Have you ever heard anything like it? It's giving LA. She said, 'This is enough now you're actually on the verge of death'." After spotting pus in her throat, Barry received antibiotics to address her tonsillitis.

However, it didn't stop there - as she then encountered gut troubles while preparing for a live appearance on . Her manager even suggested a drip to quickly improve her condition.

On her podcast, Saving Grace, she went on: "I thought I'd get the drip and be like, 'Let's do the London marathon', we did the drip and I went for a nap. How does that work? So yeah I wouldn't suggest it."

Despite the setbacks, Grace had been focusing on recovery and nutrition to ensure she can handle the jungle's dietary challenges. The star's terrified of what the show might bring, confessing she hates animals, flying, sleeping outside and not having a phone on hand.

She added: "Physically, I've been feeding myself up though because my manager was like 'you're not lasting'... You get I think it's like 600 calories a day, she was like you need to eat up so you've got s**t to burn. So I've been eating everything, creams, Chinese take-out, I've been acting like I'm on death throw actually."

It comes as Coleen has smuggled a beauty item into the jungle which is sure to make her fellow female campmates jealous.

The 38-year-old is apparently a fan of collagen - which she swears by to keep her hair, nails and skin in top condition. So the unlikely luxury item she has chosen to take into camp with her is collagen sachets.

A show insider said: "She’s always looked after herself, and this is just part of her routine. She absolutely swears by collagen and it was non negotiable. It’s one of her secret weapons for staying healthy. Most people would be sneaking in bars of chocolate, but she’s packed plenty of collagen sachets to keep up with her daily regime."

It could all be excellent timing if she starts telling the other campmates about it, as Coleen - who is reportedly receiving £1.5 million for her jungle stint - is already an ambassador for global wellness brand Applied Nutrition. 

And it's thought she is getting ready to launch her own range of wellbeing products - including a Applied Nutrition range of collagen - in January.

Collagen is said to boost skin elasticity and promote healthy hair growth. But it’s not just beauty products Coleen's packing - she's also made sure to bring along a few personal touches.

Along with the collagen sachets, Coleen has picked some photos of her four children - Kai, 15, Kit, 11, Klay, eight, and six-year-old Cass - to help keep her spirits high while she’s away from home. The source continued: "She’s a devoted mum, and having pictures of her kids with her is a must. They are her motivation through everything, even the toughest parts of the show."
