One campmate has seen their odds to win plummet as they failed to win over viewers.
Fans were over the moon as the show made its , and McFly star has emerged as the favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle. During the show’s first episode, Danny was seen teaming up with Barry McGuigan as they raced to become camp leaders, but were pipped to the post by Tulisa and , who were awarded luxurious beds for their first night in camp.
Now, The Voice UK judge is odds-on favourite to win this year’s show, at 2/1, according to bet365. In second place is podcaster GK Barry at 5/1, after she managed to secure her role as camp scaredy cat, and will no doubt be voted by the public to do every Bushtucker Trial thanks to her reaction to creepy crawlies. In joint third place are legend Alan Halsall and , at 8/1.
The WAG was one of the favourites to be crowned Queen of the Jungle when it was confirmed she would be heading to the jungle, but now she could potentially only be runner up.

One campmate who has seen his popularity plummet is Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, who was branded “annoying” by furious viewers during the first episode. He was last in the first challenge of the series, and was seen gagging and almost vomiting as he tried to drink a blend of fish eye and bull's penis with vomit fruit garnish. Now, the 32-year-old has seen his odds to be crowned King of the Jungle slashed to 10/1, with Maura Higgins, who hasn’t even arrived in the I’m A Celeb camp yet, close behind at 12/1.
Fans were frustrated with Dean’s theatrics during Sunday’s show, as he struggled to finish the gross smoothie during the first trial of the series. “This is playing havoc with my IBS,” he quipped, as hosts and erupted into fits of giggles. Some viewers failed to click with his outlandish personality, with one fuming on : “Dean’s going to be the attention seeker of the series it seems,” as another agreed: “Dean McCullough already doing my head in.”
Before he arrived in camp, he said he wasn’t scared of rubbing his campmates up the wrong way, especially if they were shirking their duties. “There could be a few people on that line up who think, 'I'm just going to sit this one out, I'm not going to do the washing up'. But yes they are,” Dean told MailOnline, as he insisted he wouldn’t be impressed with campmates “putting their feet up”.
