ITV I'm A Celebrity star to 'quit' show just days in after telling sign

Fans of admitted they weren't expecting campmate GK Barry to stick around on the show, as others shared their hopes she might win.

The social media star and panellist was shown screaming her way through her first jungle challenge in the launch episode, with her clearly terrified. , which saw hosts head back to the jungle, returned to screens on Sunday night.

The hosts were back and ready to deliver the usual fun and games, introducing including Danny Jones, and . GK Barry paired up with fellow Loose Women panellist Jane Moore for her first task, and things did not go to plan.

The women had to swim in a river after failing to secure a canoe, moments after GK, real name Grace Eleanor Keeling, had to stick her hand in some rather grim things.

In order to release a boat, the celebrities needed to find a key that was hidden inside a Hell Hole on the river bank. Each Hell Hole had multiple keys inside, as well as some bugs and critters to get them in the jungle spirit.

GK Barry was shown screaming out in terror, swinging her arm around as she tried to find the key while battling the bugs. She repeatedly screamed out to Jane, before realising she didn't need to continue as all the boats were gone.

She ended up crying over the task, before screaming out once more when she realised she'd have to swim in the river. She shared all on the "nightmare" ordeal after, having already admitted to viewers she was scared of everything that would feature on the show.

Now, seeing her reaction to the bugs and challenges, fans believed GK Barry would not last long in the jungle. Given her comments too, fans were convinced she would walk from the show within days.

One fan said: "GK Barry won’t survive 48 hours the rate she’s going." Another agreed: "Either GK Barry Or Colleen will walk out week one trust me," as a third said: "GK Barry isn’t gonna last two days."

Others predicted she could turn it around though, with one writing: "One episode in and GK Barry is already my winner." Another said: "GK Barry is tooo funny," as a third added: "GK Barry is my favourite already! Hilarious."

It comes as Ant and Dec teased some "bad news" before the show kicked off. The pair took to their joint account to divulge their news as Declan said: "Hi everybody, Ant and Dec here. But you knew that. We've got a little update for you, because we know lots of you've been asking about Jungle Club this year. We've got some good news and we got some bad news. I'll start with the bad news, shall I?"

Ant then added: "Jungle Club will not be going on straight after the main show. Sorry. The good news is it will be going on straight after the new ITV2 show. Yay!" Dec continued: "So we are back, but we're a little bit later. Yes, we are. It's Jungle Club: Late & Live. One for all you night owls out there."

The Jungle Club will see Ant and Dec go live on Instagram after the main show as they give their opinions, reactions, share stories and give some exclusive insider details. The duo have been hosting the social media spin-off since 2022.
