Danny Jones had a bizarre night out that "nobody dared to film" with campmate famous husband.
is set to share the camp with WAG Coleen on this year's series of the show. However, before heading Down Under Danny had a wild night with her football star husband Wayne. The pair partied together back in 2020 as part of a Soccer Aid bash during the coronavirus pandemic.
Danny headed to the party alongside singers Dermot Kennedy and James Bay. The trio were asked to bring along their guitars by ex-footballer Robbie Keane so they could offer some entertainment. In a surprising move, former England ace Wayne also decided to step up and show his musical skills.
"I was lucky enough to play the one in Covid times," Danny said on the Sappenin' Podcast with Sean Smith. "In normal every day times it's a party, everyone brings their loved one along. This time, obviously you couldn't do that. After the game, we all just had to buy ourselves the party in this kind of bubble that we were in."
He added: "The three of us were all jamming. We're all having an amazing time. Then out of nowhere, wants to do a tune. I say 'Rooney, what do you want to sing? I've heard you like a bit of Mustang Sally.' So there's me, James Bay and Dermot Kennedy jamming Mustang Sally with Wayne Rooney. He's got a decent enough voice but he's got this Scouse twang to it."

Danny admitted that nobody dared to film Wayne singing but branded it a highlight of his life. He said: "It was amazing. But no one dared film it, I don't know why. It was such an amazing moment. And I'm laughing my head off, thinking 'this is the best thing that's ever happened.' It was one of the highlights of my life."
Ahead of going into the jungle, Danny revealed to the how Danny has been placed at 5/2 to be crowned King of the Jungle, to which he said: "I think just having the approval of the British public and people that... oh, you actually do like me or whatever, it's kind of nice to know that, and I think that would be just the cherry on top.
"And if I won it, I'd definitely, 100 per cent get a brand new tattoo of the crown and the stick somewhere on my body to represent it. Absolutely would." Danny admitted the hardest thing about doing the show was leaving his wife Georgia behind and their son Cooper. But he is already excited to see them waiting for him when he comes out the other side.
He said: "As I was leaving, I was like, 'Daddy's going away for a few weeks'. But then when it got announced, I'm sure he would find out now, but I said to him, 'You're gonna come on an adventure with Mummy and be a good boy'. I've never been away for this long. We normally have a two-week thing on it where if it's any more than two weeks, you've got to come and say hi. I mean, FaceTime does obviously help, but that's taken, my whole communication has been taken away."
