GK Barry found herself unexpectedly under attack from an I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! host after being nominated by the public to face a trial.
and host of the Saving Grace Podcast left TV fans in stitches as she squirmed her way through an initial task on the opening episode of the 2024 season of I'm A Celeb. While her witty comments and razor sharp sense of humour left other fans splitting their sides.
But attracting fan attention can be dangerous for the stars as viewers can then end up voting for them to take part in more trials in an effort to grant them more airtime. So was the case for GK - whose real name is Grace Kelly - as she was the winner, or perhaps loser, of the first public vote of the season and was asked to face a volcano challenge which is due to air on Monday night.
But it was during new spin-off show, ...Unpacked which sees hosts Joel Dommett, and Kemi Rodgers review the highlights of the night and offer insight. On Sunday night, Made In Chelsea star Sam had a savage response about GK's chances of making it through the first publicly voted trial.

Joel asked the reality star how he thought GK would fare in the challenge - only for Sam to ruthlessly quip: "Terribly!" He then explained his reasoning, saying: "It's better TV so lets hope she gets minimal stars."
Some fans have expressed fear the podcaster will quit the show if she is forced to undertake too many trials. One mused on X: "GK Barry won't survive 48 hours the rate she's going." And another wrote: "Either GK Barry Or Colleen will walk out week one trust me," while another remarked: "GK Barry isn't gonna last two days."
But others have been won over by her personality and think she will go all the way, with one writing: "One episode in and GK Barry is already my winner." And another fan stated: "GK Barry is tooo funny," while a third enthusiast typed: "GK Barry is my favourite already! Hilarious."
GK has rocketed up the bookies list - with new odds putting her in second place to win behind McFly star Danny Jones and tying with original favourite . Oddschecker’s Leon Blackman said in a statement on Monday: "Danny Jones has emerged as a strong early favourite following Episode 1 of I’m A Celebrity. With 29.8% of bets backing him to win the competition, he’s clearly captured the public’s attention.
"Interestingly, Oddschecker punters have a solid track record of picking the winner, having correctly predicted the champion in three of the last four seasons. Coleen Rooney and GK Barry are also making their presence felt, with Rooney seeing her odds slashed from 9/1 to 7/1 after last night’s episode. As the competition progresses, it will be fascinating to see if early favourites like Danny Jones can maintain their momentum or if new contenders will rise in the betting markets.”
