As the 79-year-old Queen of British Blues chatted with hosts and Dermot O'Leary about her upcoming UK tour, she spilled her secrets to looking so youthful crediting lots of nice creams, healthy eating, and regular exercise, including her dedication to Aikido, a type of martials arts. Elkie revealed she has been practicing martial arts for many years and took her first black belt when she was 50.
Elkie's revelations wowed both Cat and Dermot, but it was her electrifying live rendition of Sunshine After the Rain that truly captivated the audience. , now X, was brimming with praise for Elkie's age-defying appearance and her stellar performance, reports .

The legendary singer, who is set to celebrate her 80th birthday in February, recently opened up about considering quitting music at the tender age of 17. Despite this early doubt, Elkie went on to achieve fame with her 1977 classic, Pearl's A Singer, which came nearly two decades after her first paid gig.
Currently embarking on her Long Farewell Tour, Elkie remains determined to keep performing, as she explained to the Express: "I'm not stopping, the clue is in the title long farewell tour," adding: "I'll judge it on my fitness level as I go along. I don't want to disappoint those who remember me from years ago."

During the latest episode, Cat and Dermot started the show by talking about the latest episode of the hit jungle series to which Dermot asked Cat: "How do you think you'd be in the jungle?"
To which Cat admitted: "You know what, I'd be terrible! In fact, they have never ever asked me. Never approached me, I mean considering how well I know the couple of guys [Ant and Dec], well, the one guy who 'runs the show apparently'. You'd think they would, wouldn't you?"
