YouTuber has revealed why he agreed to rules ahead of their £30million match on Saturday.
Paul, who's 31 years younger than boxing legend 'Iron Mike', will take on the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the in a professional eight-round fight. Each round will last two minutes and although knockouts will be allowed, both fighters will be required to wear 14-ounce gloves to reduce the risk of long-term damage.
Each fighter is from the bout which will take place at the 80,000-seater AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home of giants the . Paul, 27, has only suffered one defeat - to last year - in his 11 fights as a boxer, having made his name in the online world.
But the Ohio native is keen to make a statement against Tyson, despite compromising when it comes to the fight's rules. Appearing on YouTube channel, Paul was asked if Tyson had requested the two-minute rounds and 14-ounce gloves.
"Yeah, that was always what he wanted from day one and I just wanted to agree to his rules, [to get it done]" he replied. "That's mostly how I am with these fights, like, 'what makes sense? Let's make it a fair fight and move on and just make it happen'."
Paul's comments come after the pair's original fight in July was postponed. Tyson, who's now 58, suffered an ulcer flare-up during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles earlier this year and has revealed the extent of his health scare.
"I asked the doctor, 'Am I going to die?'" he told . "I lost 25 pounds in 11 days. Couldn't eat. Only liquids. Every time I went to the bathroom, it smelled like tar.

"All my coordination, stamina, everything was hectic getting back. I was peaked already. I could have fought him that day. Now I got to start from scratch. I had, like, eight blood transfusions. The doctor said I lost half my blood. I almost died."
As a result of Tyson's comments, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation have confirmed that he'll face a series of pre-fight tests. TLDR representative Tela Mange said via : "Thorough pre-fight physicals will be conducted by TDLR-appointed physicians, who will discuss Mr Tyson's medical history with him. Before the event, TDLR will conduct pre-fight physicals to ensure the health of both fighters."
Tyson has previously teased the prospect of a rematch. Speaking on , hosted by Jake's brother, Logan, he explained: "Two men are gonna fight, someone's gonna win, they may fight again, and then they go to their separate banks and life goes on."
