Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper's highs, lows and close bond as they team up at farmers' protest

and Kaleb Cooper have shared a close friendship ever since working together on hit show .

The reality stars, who joined forces today in Westminster to, come from very different backgrounds.

However, after farming guru, Kaleb, 26, shot to fame on the Amazon Prime series with Jeremy in which he tries to guide the Top Gear star, 64, as he navigates life working in the countryside, the pair have formed an undeniably close bond.

So, as they make their voices heard in Parliament Square today alongside a , here's the lowdown on their friendship, including Kaleb calling Jeremy his 'hero'....

Humble Kaleb thanked Jeremy for how he’d changed his life, due to the success of Clarkson’s Farm. The farmer, who tries to steer the Top Gear star away from countryside calamity on the show, is now a celebrity in his own right.

He told : “I mean I thank him by teaching him a few things about farming. I am thankful to him for bringing me onto the screen, and hopefully we are teaching each other things along the way.

“Yes he is my hero and he’s on my hero list and he’s taught me so much about television and hopefully I’m teaching him a lot about farming. Who is better to learn from than himself?”

'Go for pints all the time'

Kaleb revealed that the pair "go for pints" all the time while teasing that as much as Jeremy was learning about the countryside, he was “still incredibly useless” when it came to certain aspects of farming.

Speaking to Heat magazine, he said: “He’s picking a lot of little things up. But he’s still incredibly useless in terms of anything practical.”

Despite these disagreements, which often spill out on screen in Clarkson's Farm, Kaleb insisted that he and Jeremy were very pally adding that they were “really close” and “go for pints all the time”.

Jeremy thanked Kaleb as the pair scooped up a prize for raising awareness of British farming at the British Farming Awards in 2021. The pair have been widely hailed by farmers for shining a light on the unforgiving nature of the industry in the critically-acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series.

Three years ago, the pair were given a huge honour and received a bellowing applause from their peers and appeared overwhelmed by the incredible response. Turning to his Clarkson’s Farm co-star, Jeremy said: "Kaleb I couldn’t have done this without you. You are the star of the show."

In an unflinching look at one of the toughest industries, Clarkson's Farm has won Jeremy an entirely new fanbase and made a star out of Kaleb.
