Jose Mourinho has taken his fury to after labelling the referee in dramatic 3-2 victory over a 'little boy'.

had to be escorted off the pitch by one of his players amid the rage-fuelled celebrations, having been left seething with a series of decisions. The former , and  boss was livid when both on-field referee Oguzhan Cakir and video assistant Atilla Karaoglan didn't penalise a handball from a Trabzonspor man with the scores locked at 2-2 in the 82nd minute.

After being led down the tunnel while jumping in the air and pumping his fist, Mourinho gave a typically provocative post-match press conference, promising to use Instagram to highlight the referee's errors. The 60-year-old proclaimed: "Not many people outside of Turkey watch Turkish league matches. I will post it on my Instagram and millions of people will see it."

Shortly after, Mourinho got on the social media platform and posted a video of the 82nd-minute incident to his 5.5 million Instagram followers. "Watch and smile," he wrote as the caption alongside two love heart emojis in Fenerbahce's colours. "If you like it watch the game because the funny situations don't stop with this clip."

"Today, the man of the match was Atilla Karaoglan. We didn't see him, but he was the referee of the match," Mourinho fumed. "The referee was just a little boy who was there on the pitch, but the referee was Atilla Karaoglan.

"He went from the invisible man to the most important man of the match. I speak on behalf of all Fenerbahce fans: we don't want him again. We don't want him because it smells bad. We don't want him. We don’t want him on the pitch, but on the VAR even less."

Later in his rant, he joked: "He (Karaoglan) was alert to give the two penalties that the referee didn't give, and then he was having Turkish tea when it was a clear penalty for us and he didn't give it. So either he was sleeping, or he was drinking his tea and he didn't see it. So let's have a laugh, because if we take it too seriously….

"In the end, I'm working in Turkey. It's not my country. I care because it's my job and I care because it's my club. But I think you Turkish, you should care about it! You Turkish, you should speak, not me. You should denounce. You should say what is going on, year after year.

"You should do it, not me. Because I will be the one under attack, the one the system will criticise. The system will try to punish me, the system will try to close my mouth."
