has landed her own TV show on Channel 4, which will mark 14 years since she last appeared on the network, following her stint on .
presenter, 39, started to carve out a career as a TV host following the departure of Philip Schofield from the daytime TV show. At that time, bosses were forced into a rotation of presenters which included Josie. And also, following her stint on ... Get Me Out Of Here last year, she became a fan favourite.
And this is why the mum of one was quickly snapped up to host Ultimate Gift Guide. The show will feature a number of her celebrity pals, mixologists, finance experts and gadget gurus. Josie and her team are expected to review the latest Christmas present ideas for all budgets, offer money and time saving hacks and reveal this year's top buys, in association with toy store Smyths Toys Superstores.
The will be split into two parts. Speaking of the show, Josie told The Sun: "I love Christmas, so hopefully this show will help take out some of the stress. There’ll be festive laughs and great guests." Back in September, Josie announced that she was taking a hiatus from her role on after landing another presenting gig.
The TV star is set to explore luxury travel and will look into first class airlines, high-end hotels and premium airline seats. In an interview with Express.co.uk about her new show, she said: "I've got loads of things in the pipeline, I'm still very involved with This Morning, I'm very grateful for This Morning and everything they've helped me with because they grew me as a presenter. I should be around at Christmas on the [This Morning] sofa, so then I will get back on the road and try to make it all work as much as I can."
She added: "It is going to be amazing because I'm going to be exploring how the other half live, like the first class travel. You know when you walk through the airplane and you think, I wonder what is that way? I'm going to be seeing all the stuff that is the other way. I love that I can still experience things like that and it absolutely shocks me."
She continued: "It's a tough gig, but someone's got to do it," she joked. "I'm so happy that they've asked me, I'm really happy! We've got quite a few destinations to go to, so yeah we start filming this week." With just days until the start of the new series of I'm A Celebrity, Josie has revealed it is as hard as it looks.
In an interview with OK!, she said: "Yes! I’m not going to sugarcoat it, it’s really hard and it takes you places, mentally and physically, that you didn’t think you were going to go to. I really thought there’d be some element of a “studio” to the camp, but there really isn’t. It’s an actual jungle and there’s nowhere to hide. Viewers see every single version of someone."
