Kerry Katona says Cruz Beckham's age gap romance is 'weird' and 'a little strange'

Reality TV star has shared her thoughts on 's relationship with Jackie Apostel.

Cruz, 19, to Jackie, understood to be 29, for months. They have attracted attention, particularly between them, and songwriter Jackie has been seen at events with his family, which includes his parents , 50, and , 49.

Kerry, 44, shared her thoughts in her latest column for , which was released this week. The winner told readers that she finds the situation "a little strange" but noted that there's an eight year age-gap between herself and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 36.

She wrote: "I've seen that Cruz Beckham has a girlfriend who is a decade older than him and I do think it's a little strange. Jackie Apostel is 29 and he is 19. I know there's a big gap between Ryan and me (eight years) but, as you get older, I don't think it matters as much as when you're 19."

The columnist went on to suggest that she would not be "happy" if her own son Max, 16, ended up having a "much older" partner. She commented: "I don't think I'd be happy if Max had a girlfriend that much older if I'm honest. I find it when older women want to be with teenage boys. But if they're happy, maybe it just means I'm old-fashioned."

The age-gap between Jackie and Cruz has attracted attention, with some people having questioned the relationship and criticised Jackie. She in a post on last month. She shared a meme, which originated on another account, of someone lying with their head and upper back on the floor, but with the rest of their body in the air. The caption read: "Imagine ur talking shii abt me and I'm just in my bed doing this." Jackie shared it shortly after having uploaded a photo of herself and Cruz cosied up together.

She's been linked to Cruz since April and they are said to have first gone public with the relationship at in June. More recently they whilst out in the US and Jackie was spotted . Last month Cruz in a post marking her birthday.

Jackie has met Cruz's parents and his siblings , 25, , 22, and , 13. She was , having been included in a post about "family and friends," but a source has claimed to that Victoria has . As previously reported, the source said that Victoria "really likes" Jackie but added: "Cruz is still a teenager whereas Jackie is a fully grown woman who is at a different stage in her life and may want things that Cruz is not quite ready for."
