Martin Odegaard has in the Champions League - but Declan Rice has not.
Odegaard has not featured for the Gunners since August after suffering a serious ankle injury while playing for Norway during the September international break. He has since missed 12 matches - including crucial Premier League games against Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool - but is now set for a return.
In fact, the 25 year-old has made the trip to Milan alongside his Arsenal teammates for the clash with Inter. If he does feature, it would represent his first game for the since playing in the 1-1 draw against Brighton on August 31. His return is a significant boost for Mikel Arteta, with their form taking a turn of recent late.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will not be able call on midfielder Rice for the game against Inter. The 25-year-old has not travelled to the San Siro but it's expected to just be a precaution. The Gunners staff have not taken any risks and he will be assessed ahead of the trip to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kieran Tierney and Riccardo Calafiori are expected to remain out until at least after the November international break.
Tomiyasu has struggled with injury for most of the calendar year, playing only six minutes of football since the 2024/25 season began and Arteta does not expect him available for at least the next few weeks.

Tierney remains out of action after suffering a devastating hamstring injury playing for Scotland against Switzerland during the Euro 2024 group stages in Cologne over the summer.
Speaking on Tierney, Arteta said: "I think he's quite close. He's looking really good. I think he's over the period where he was still struggling, so he looks really sharp out there. “He hasn't trained with the team yet but hopefully, he can do that in the next week or two."
Calafiori was forced off during the Champions League clash at home to Shakhtar Donetsk after slipping in a challenge. Reports in Italy suggested that he will only be out for several weeks.
