Liam Gallagher brutally mocks Peter Andre as he hints at support acts for Oasis reunion tour

Send Push

frontman has taken a brutal swipe at as he hints at support acts for the band's upcoming tour next year.

Taking to X, Liam, 52, told fans: "Oasis when we’re on it I’d go on after Peter Andre that’s how dangerous I believe we are." The obvious put down of the Mysterious Girl singer was immediately noticed by fans who were quick to comment. One person said: "I said maybe you could cover ‘Mysterious Girl." Another person added: "You are funny."

A third person quipped: "are you a big peter andre fan liam ??" Confirming that Liam was simply having a laugh, a fourth said: "Please don’t make people sit through Peter Andre." But this is not the first time Peter Andre has been the butt of Liam's jokes. Back in 2007, Liam reportedly called Peter a "p***y c***" during an interview and Pete branded him a "two-faced coward." At the time Liam was asked which celebrity he would ignore, text or call out of Sir Trevor McDonald, Peter Andre and Dolly Parton.

He responded saying: "I'd call Trevor McDonald, I'd text Peter Andre and I'd ignore Dolly Parton. The only reason I'd text Peter Andre is to say, 'What the f*** are you on about man? Where'd you get my f***ing number from, you f***ing pikey ****?' "

On the back of Liam's harsh comment, Pete wrote in his new! magazine column: "I read somewhere that has been calling me all sorts of names. I found this quite surprising because when I last saw Liam he couldn't have been friendlier to me and Katie. I'd go as far as to say that he was totally up our backsides!"

He added: "We bumped into him at a Radio 1 event and he told us how great he thought we were and how his mother Peggy was a big fan. It's such a shame he was too much of a coward to tell us how he really felt to our faces instead of being two-faced. That man is all mouth and no trousers!"

But two years ago, it looked as though the hatchet had been well and truly buried. He revealed in his magazine column: "Last week, the were talking about unusual meetings with celebs. ’s was with Oasis’s Noel Gallagher, who tapped her on the shoulder in Euston Station and said, 'My mum would kill me if I didn’t say hello to you!" He continued: "It made me think of my encounter with Noel’s brother, Liam Gallagher. He once said some harsh things about me in an interview. I took it on the chin, as I’d been told it’s his nature."

The two men have also bonded over them being fathers. He added: "A while later, I bumped into him and he not only apologised, but praised me for being a great father and for my relationship with my kids," he continued. I didn’t expect it! I knew about his 'tough guy' bravado, but we talked about our families. It was a bizarre encounter, but a good one."
