Lorraine Kelly given legal warning about Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy comments

Lorraine Kelly has revealed she was given a stern warning over and

told her viewers that she has been advised against discussing their trial on her show. It comes after WAG Coleen is currently competing on this year's ...Get Me Out of Here! following her highly publicised court battle with Rebekah.

The Scouse star, 38, famously accused of leaking stories to the Sun with an infamous social media post. Rebekah, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2017, kicked off high-profile libel battle but in July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true".

During Lorraine on Tuesday morning, host Lorraine discussed the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity and revealed her warning over referencing Wagatha Christie. Speaking to co-star Rishi Davda, Lorraine disclosed: "Now this is very serious Rishi, we've had some advice from our lawyers that we can't actually say Wagatha Christie.

"We can't say Wagatha Christie because it's owned by someone, so every time we say Wagatha Christie we have to pay Rebekah Vardy a pound." Lorraine laughed as Rishi added: "I don't know the going rate actually." She continued: "So we'll have to call it something else, what can we call it?" Rishi quipped: "We can abbreviate it to WC."

Last year, after losing her libel action against Coleen. In documents obtained by the Mirror at the time, her trademark covers everything from clothing, non-alcoholic beverages, broadcasting, education and beauty. Should it be used by others, Rebekah will need to approve it and can also receive a fee for usage.

When asked by the what she thinks about the name and the possibility of being remembered in a different light, perhaps as Queen of the Jungle, Coleen said: . Not from any other type of place. It’s so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he’s going to get airtime from it,” Rebekah raged in .
