Married At First Sight returns on Monday night with a new batch of couples tying the knot to complete strangers.

Last week, fans watched as some fell head over heels for each other during their sunny honeymoons while some wasted no time in getting into fights despite enjoying the perfect weddings. And now, it is Orson Nurse's turn to wait at the alter for his future bride to walk down the aisle as they two work to fall in love.

In order to celebrate the big day, his mum Mary has to travel almost 7,000 kilometres to watch him marry someone he's never seen or met before. His wedding will also be a chance for him and his mum to finally reunite after time apart and fans will have to hope he'll be able to 'make his mum proud' with his unique decision to marry a stranger.

In a teaser clip shared exclusively with The Mirror, Orson can be seen putting on his suit as he prepares for his big day. The nervous groom says: "I actually can't believe that this big day has finally come. Mum has flown over from St Kitts and I'm so excited that she's here."

He beams with joy as his gorgeous mum walks through the door and hugs him. He tells her: "Oh, you look nice!" Speaking to the camera about her son, the mum explains: "Orson looks very handsome in his suit, I'm a proud mum today," before the scene cuts back to them reuniting in the room. "This long flight paid off," she tells him.

Orson admits the wedding is a huge deal for him as he wants his mother to be proud of him. He says: "This is a very important day for me because I want my mum to look at me and feel proud. I want my wife to be proud and I wanna be proud of myself because I'm only going to get married once."

The contestant is a project engineer who hails from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. He is proud of his heritage and was raised by his mum and grandmother - who instilled in him strong family values. He is also the father to a two-year-old daughter. He has said to E4 that the baby is the "light of his life."

Speaking about his reason for joining the show, he said: "I want to get married as I feel that is the only thing missing from my life.” He is hoping to find someone open, family-orientated and spontaneous.

Married At First Sight UK returns to E4 at 9pm tonight*
