Man makes incredible find at charity shop that totally blows his mind

A man made an in Sydney.

As he walked through the rails at in Sydney's north shore, Rob Klaric spotted two framed snaps on the floor. Staring back at him was a picture of himself and his wife Leonie during their travelling days, journeying across Europe in 1993. The images showed the couple visiting his hometown in , with one showing Rob "holding up" the Tower of Pisa in a snap often taken by tourists visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World. In the second picture, they could be seen standing against a piece of furniture in the garden of his late mother.

Speaking to 2GB, Rob said he couldn't believe "the chances" of finding the pictures. “I’ve walked into a store and I see these pictures and I thought I was hallucinating,” he said. “The photo’s iconic because it’s in my mother’s backyard and Mum’s just passed away a few years ago.”

Rob recalled how the images had originally been hung on the wall of their apartment. However, they were taken down and packed away when the couple moved to a new property. They expected the box to be delivered by the removal company, but it was misplaced - becoming lost.

The couple had always wondered what had happend to the photos, but believes his mother - who died a few years ago - may have been looking over them and guiding Rob to the photos from beyond the grave.

“My beautiful old Italian mum, it’s got her fingerprints all over it,” he said. “If it was on the left or the right you wouldn’t have seen it. I think she’s looking down from heaven.”

“The ironic thing is that my picture – sorry Leonie – mine was more expensive,” Mr Klaric said. “It was $12 (£6.13) and hers was $8 (£4.09).”
