Another Red Devils’ supporter said: “Sporting CP 4-1 , unbelievable result and energy from Ruben Amorim’s Team with some very impressive performances from a number of his players, looks like United have a good one, look how he’s got that sporting team playing.”
The praise continued to come for Amorim throughout the evening, with some suggesting that the Portuguese tactician was the best manager in the , while another predicted that he would end the Red Devils’ long wait for a crown.

Will Ruben Amorim be a success with United?
United fans don’t have much longer to wait to see Amorim take the reins at Old Trafford. The 39-year-old takes charge of his final match with Sporting Lisbon this Sunday - poignantly an away game against his former side Braga.
He will then take a break for the November internationals before officially completing his move to the Premier League. Amorim’s first game in charge of United will come against newly-promoted at Portman Road.
The Red Devils also face a further two games ahead of his arrival. They take on PAOK in midweek ahead of Sunday’s clash with at Old Trafford - interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy set to remain in charge.
