Man Utd icon Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'in talks with big club' after snubbing latest job offer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be in talks over a new role - just weeks after admitting he'd love another crack at managing .

When he was pushed on the prospect of an emotional Old Trafford return, Solskjaer admitted that he would be unable to turn down the chance to manage his beloved United again during a Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum last month.

He said: “If the [United] family asks, I would say yes every day of the week. It feels wrong to talk about jobs that other people have now - but I would say yes, of course.”

He also hinted he was open to an international job in the future - namely the Norway job. Solskjaer continued: “I am a proud Norwegian, and of course if the question arises, when Ståle decides to give up, I will happily engage in discussions.

“I am a proud Norwegian and proud of where I come from.”
