A man has revealed his microwave hack - leaving people gobsmacked for not figuring it out earlier.

Sidney Raz has become a sensation with his life tips, and he's recently focused on kitchen hacks. He shared an incredibly easy way to spruce up the microwave using just water and a lemon. By placing a bowl of lemon water in the microwave and heating it up, he demonstrates that a quick wipe is all it takes afterwards.

On TikTok, under the username , he explained: "Here's something I didn't know until I was in my 30s - how to clean the microwave. Take some lemon water, microwave that for like a minute and a half and it should wipe out more smoothly." He then shows his 'nasty' microwave and confirms "yep, that works - that works", as he easily cleans off the built-up filth. The video quickly racked up over 500,000 likes and thousands of comments from stunned viewers.

One commented: "Thank God you're showing me when I'm still young." Another chimed in: "Now you have no excuse not to clean your microwave." A third remarked: "A lot of people don't even know that they're supposed to clean it out." Another follower, familiar with the trick, chimed in with additional advice, commenting: "It works even better when you microwave it for five to ten minutes and then leave it in there for 15 more minutes."

This tip adds yet another layer to the life hack many are eager to try. In previous articles, we've delved into handy travel tips as well - like Sidney's viral advice video titled 'You can actually sleep on a flight' where he insists that travel pillows should wrap around the front of your neck instead of the back.

Demonstrating, he said: "Here's something I wish I knew before I was in my 30s. Travel pillows go in front," placing the cushion under his chin, followed by: "Mm, I'm so comfy."

His suggestion took social media by storm as scores of passengers, accustomed to seeing everyone use these pillows one way at airports and during flights, were astonished to find such a simple change could rectify a common error they'd been repeating endlessly.
